After seven annual editions of success in Russia, VERA World Fine Art Festival moves to Lisbon from 16 to 21 September 2014, for the biggest and most important event dedicated to the celebration and democratization of contemporary art to be held in Portugal.
The main object of VERA World Fine Art is the exhibition and celebration of established artists and emerging new talents in painting, sculpture, design, photography, applied art, installation, architecture and museology. Combining these eight artistic disciplines, the event fosters creation, diversity and freedom.

Sustaining a strong platform for cultural and artistic exchange in the world, and supported by seven years of proven success of the festival, VERA World Fine Art Festival proposes the close cooperation with galleries, artists, auction houses and other specialized art institutions, cultural creative enterprises and press art, government officials and successful companies to standardize cultural management, promote national and international professional and market-oriented operations, and maximize the economic, social and cultural effect of the event to all participants and visitors.
To achieve the proposed objectives, VERA World Fine Art Festival '14 associates the concept of global artistic celebration in two complementary stages: an enriching annual temporary exhibition of masterpieces from various artistic fields - VERA World Fine Art Festival; and a global projection ceremony dedicated to the celebration of fine art, majestically designed in order to follow the highest standards of artistic evaluation, with the delivery of the prestigious Award VERA - VERA World Fine Art Awards.
The exhibition hall covers an area of 3,750 m2 and will be divided between: Galleries and Artists; Sponsors; Lounge VIP; Art Talks; and Restoration.
Alongside the exhibition, complementary activities will be developed, such as: lectures, master classes and round tables on the assessment, collection and tendencies of contemporary art and other related topics; forums and seminars chaired by renowned artists on display; and a charity auction whose revenue accrues to the pediatric service of the Portuguese Oncology Institute.
The final ceremony VERA World Fine Art Awards '14 will take place on September 21 in the Salão Preto e Prata of Casino Estoril.
