I have always been an artist, it is something that is a part of me. When I look at things I see not only the beauty of it but feel the textures and smell the scents in my mind. When I read an authors works-I see the images unfolding like a movie. Then it is my job and my pleasure to translate that into illustrations so that those who read the book will live the story along with the characters and feel the magic and mystery in the words and colors. I do all types of art; portraits, pets, fine art, but I love the illustrations the most as each new book that comes along for me to illustrate is like going on a new adventure. It never gets boring!
