Manos Kastanakis, digital artist and photographer, reveals himself through his creations as a sensitive and committed soul. At 35, he embodies a vision of art that transcends borders and embraces the diversity of human life.

Originally from Chania in Crete, Greece, Manos was born in Athens where he grew up. However, the last few years have seen him settle in Larnaca, Cyprus, along with his wife and their child.

Manos grew up in a home where "democracy" and "freedom of expression" were fundamental rules. From an early age, he learned to fight for the freedom of every individual to express themselves and enjoy equal rights, regardless of skin color and financial status.

Photography is his passion and his great love. As he grew and matured, Manos realized that a beautiful photo is not necessarily one that depicts exotic landscapes or human models. Wonderful photos can also feature elderly people, ordinary people that we meet every day. Magnificent neighborhoods are also found in villages and towns. Manos worked on such images, imprinted with simplicity and emotion.

The year 2017 marks the beginning of his first official steps, where he creates and publishes some of his works, thus offering a window on his inner world rich in colors and new dimensions. Through his creations, Manos Kastanakis seeks to give a voice and a new dimension to the objects, landscapes and people we meet on a daily basis, giving them the value they deserve.
