My name is Tiziana Ricco, a contemporary artist from Puglia.

BIOGRAPHY

Tiziana Ricco was born in Brindisi, where she lives and carries out her artistic activity. Her passion and talent for painting manifested early, when she was still very young.

He attended the workshop of Maestro Carmelo Conte, where he acquired the rudiments of the main painting techniques. At the age of eighteen he came into contact with important masters of figurative art including Antonio Maceri, Maria Cantatore and Maurizio D'Addario; it is with them that he studies and deepens new pictorial disciplines and expressive techniques. At the same time, he develops his own autonomous language giving his works an original and free interpretation.

He participates in invited, impromptu group exhibitions, national and international competitions, immediately gathering flattering acclaim from specialized critics, winning prizes and awards of high importance.

In '97 he embarks on the pictorial current of the neo-figurative: a journey that will last for almost ten years in which the artist will let himself be involved by the beauty of the surrounding nature, portraying it in a realism interpreted in a modern key.

In 2001 he created a collection of refined and evocative landscapes in which old residences and ancient farmhouses extend to infinity, transparently and overlapping; the collection receives unconditional appreciation both from the public and from collectors and gallery owners.

In 2007, her relentless research led her to experiment with new informal solutions through the use of different materials. His painting, becoming material and gestural, leaves the canons of the traditional reading of forms, giving life to a more intimate and liberating expression.
