Tiphanie CANADA, a self-taught painter, was born in 1989 in Bayonne, in southwestern France.
From an early age, she has always loved creation in all its forms. However, after an A-level in Literature & Visual Arts she chose a very different path: tourism. During her studies and other experiences, she moved successively to New York (USA), Marbella (Spain), Shanghai (China) and Nusa Penida (Indonesia).
Then, graduated and on the job market, her passion takes over:
"The need to find a balance put my passion back in the center of my life. I had to walk away from this passion to understand how much of it was a part of me."
She found inspiration in nature. This is the starting point of each artwork. Its guideline: entirely focused on nature, its energies and vibrations.
She created her pictorial expression by combining collage / paper mache and acrylic paint, a mixed media she has tamed over time.
"I do not seek to create a perfect reproduction by painting nature, but rather to transmit powerful energies and emotions. I never sketch my paintings. I visualize a composition in my head and when that happens, an emotion is always associated with it. Then, I start the creative process without knowing how long I will spend on the artwork. What I need: calm, be surrounded by green plants or nature, natural light and sometimes music. I know that my work is finished when I feel the same emotion when I previewed it. This feeling is very soothing."
