Un attaccamento viscerale alle tradizioni sarde, unito ad un pathos notevole fatto di espressioni forti, gesti e sguardi; affascinante nel suo erotismo sottile, l'arte di Tino sa essere concreta, emotiva e delicata al contempo. Artista estremamente moderno nella rilettura della tradizione pittorica realista sarda, racconta nelle sue opere il valore dei momenti di vita capaci di darle un senso, come se ne fossero il sale. Racconta di quel tempo che occorre non perdere e non far scappare: è per questo che il sorriso di una donna nuda non diventa volgare, ma magico; è per questo che l'infornare il pane diventa il simbolo di un'usanza antica che si ripete e si ripeterà per sempre; è per questo che delle barche immobili designano la pace riflessiva di un'alba. Così, nel confrontarci nelle e con le sue opere, siamo in grado di leggere l'essenza stessa della vita e della Sardegna, congelati sulla tela.
