Original Artwork refers to any work that is considered authentic and not a copy or imitation of the original works of an artist. He was born in 19th July 1968 in Galle; one of the historical townscapes admired during Dutch and British periods in Sri Lanka.

His premature artistic born-talent began from his home in a panoramic mountainous village of Thalgaswella under sincere appreciation of his adored parents.
His formal education on art began from his school – Richmond Collage, Galle

Despite his insights in searching the sense of elements and space around his touch during his childhood, he became a scholar of Master Sumana Dissanyaka’s Institute of Fine Arts to supplement his desire of probing into the elements of time and space of living beings; a philosophical exploration, a journey and an innate idea of which he has been enthusiastically experimenting and searching on his own from the times of his younger age.

He achieved a distinction in Art in his G.C.E (O/L’s) and collected the knowledge of sciences in G.C.E(A/L) and proceeded to his university education at University of Moratuwa in 1992.

He obtained his B.Sc( BE) in Architecture in1995 and furthered his scholars in fine arts studies in his graduate ship.

He has obtained Masters degree in Architecture by qualifying in M.Sc(Arch) in 1998.

He has obtained his professional qualification as a Chartered Architect in year 2000 and became an associate member of Sri Lanka Institute of Architects.

He started his carrier as a professional architect and has been emerging to his artistic career together with the acquaintances he has gained from both science and art disciplines.
