This is a local scene of a lake nearby where I live. It is a beautiful area for walking or cycling as it is well protected by the local council to encourage wildlife. I love to come to observe the changes of form, colour and texture displayed in the changing seasons. Even when it snows, there is a completely vista and palette of colours. The winter brings wonderful silhouettes of lacy trees and the flora is left bare from their colourful petals leaving just the skeletal form.
