Biography
Thomas Steyer is a contemporary German painter. While studying art in London, Thomas Steyer began to paint objects with reflective surfaces. He chose household and office items, kitchen utensils and bicycle parts as subjects for his oil paintings. Steyer made a name for himself quickly and from then on worked mainly for advertising.
During the years his work moved from realism to abstract expressionism, and he mixes technical ability with creative flair. He settled in Germany after decades in England and Australia, where he continues to practice his art.
