Gabrielle (Coco) Chanel said; 'There is no fashion if it does not take to the streets'.
It's in the street, during my nocturnal walks in the big cities that I tear pieces of posters off the walls like so many slices of life, images of our consumer society. It's in the street, on the walls as close as possible to people, at night when the city is deserted that I find inspiration. I tear out colors, visuals, words that speak to me that call me, challenge me. And then frantically I assemble by keys to restore a story, an emotion.
