Bob Noreika and I decided to focus our winter painting time on the streets of Middletown. This location encouraged lots of "kibitizers" and Bob encouraged conversation. There was a woman dressed like the "statue of liberty" to attract
customers for a tax firm. Many regulars stood around watching us paint. Eventually we went into the shop for a coffee and sat outside on a cold chair with our painting gear on the ground. Those who had seen us painting came by to inspect the work and give their complements.
