A technical training for the ceramic trades allowed me some openings on art.

I am a self-taught painter.
At first figurative, my painting is gradually moving towards a more abstract expression.
Abstract art does not represent the visible world, but a sensitive world where matter, line, color are used for themselves.

Neither model nor law, Liberty is the emptiness of the white and bare surface in front of you.

Initially, like the writer victim of leucoselophobia, the artist searches, searches, waits...then travels within himself and dares to lose himself by expressing himself in a succession of shapes, masses, flat areas, touches, drops. ..

The gesture is sometimes desired and often fortuitous...

Oil colors are my preference; sometimes in successive thicknesses, projected, or the canvas barely rubbed... With a knife... With a brush... With a tube... The colors, the tools, the hands, translate the pleasure of a search deep within oneself, to implement at the through matter, the reflection of the imagination.

After a sometimes long duel, the work is born. Completed, this reveals the painter's moments of solitude faced with the unoccupied void of the canvas.

Then comes the last challenge: the exhibition of his work.
