The calmness is atemporal, nothing moves, everything is set in frozen picture.

Teodor Isfan is a romanian artist who now lives in Algavre.
He studied art at N.Tonitza Art school from Bucharest and majored in sculpture. Art restoration University dropout.
Collective exhibits, works sold to private collectors, invitations to show art… he did the usual stuff that artists do and still does.
After years of absorbing information the art came out. He does not believe in “trying to do it better” because discovering his style and voice took years and years. He believes in working and twisting own's mind until he finds a special unseen image of reality.
What defines him as an artist is his approach from a part of the brain and soul which is not quite tapped conscious, he is social and edgy, not being likeable through his art, showing sometimes the uncomfortable parts of ourselves… He makes these pieces to bring in our attention the social life that surrounds us.
He is highly focused on recycling materials. He tries to push you on being deranged, upset, disgusted, impressed and intrigued by his works, because then he achieved his goal, to move something in you, the person who looks at the pieces.
“WE are all monsters, after embracing this idea we will be humans”… he says.
