Sophie Tellier
-Sophie Tellier was born in Montargis in the Loiret and has lived for many years in the suburbs of Paris.
-From 1977 to 1981, she studied applied and graphic arts at the Duperré school, in Paris 3rd, after having passed the entrance exam.
After a career full of pitfalls, she works in the social sector, far from her professional goals.
-In 1985, she left her suburb to settle in the 7th and then the 20th arrondissement of Paris.
She mainly paints horses, landscapes, portraits and still lifes. Dry pastel is her favorite technique, followed by watercolor and pencil. She regularly exhibits her works and receives, in 2003 and 2004, the silver medal of the AIL (Académie Internationale de Lutèce) for her watercolor "A Parisian Church" and for all of her painting.
His works are well received by the public, during painting days (outdoor exhibitions) organized by various associations, where the artist is an active member.
-Since 2016, she lives near Troyes in Aube, Land of the painter Auguste Renoir. She now devotes most of her time to drawing the old medieval houses of the medieval city of Troyes and its surroundings.
-In 2019, she tried other techniques such as collage on canvas.
