J'ai invité Claire Archenault à se joindre à moi pour vous présenter notre travail pictural pendant les portes ouvertes des Ateliers du Père Lachaise. La manifestation se déroule sur 4 jours de 14 à 20h au 13 cité Champagne, 75020 Paris (accès bus 64 et 26, métro ligne 9 - Station "Maraîchers").
C'est l'occasion pour moi de vous présenter ma grande toile sur la Naissance de Rome, 4 tableaux "Les joueurs de tours" et mon triptyque de la Procréation. Vous pourrez avoir plus d'informations sur ces créations en me googlelisant.... ou en venant nous rendre visite.

The mythology is my working base. On one hand, I want to make a link with different historical events through the study of the major human thematic. On the other hand my purpose is to highlight the man’s evolution.
With my painting I can put the question whether history is an eternal resumption ; the underground of history being the man him- or herself, my work also raises the point of his/her evolution. The mythology offers a wide range of the major human behaviours which I can decline in my painted interrogations.



Nature of my work

What is already acheaved :
A canvass (2 meters x 1.75 meters) called « Exit of the Chaos or Genesis», explaining the genealogy of the first three generations of roman mythological gods when the world went out of the Chaos. This study revisits the mythological gods, heroes and monsters with contemporaneous faces….

Another canvass (2 meters x 3.50 meters) called « The foundation of Rome», gathers all major legends concerning the birth of the city with loans among some important paintings throughout art history. This work raises the problem of power, integration of other people and territory defense.

A polyptych made of four panels, « The towers players », a reflection on the power and the immoderation of the man through 4 major architectural creations : the Babel Tower, the Duomo of the Cathedral of Florence, The New York Twin Towers and the latest build one, Burj Khalifa in Dubaï.


What is being worked on :
About 30 paintings inspired of the « Garden of Delights » painted by Jérôme Bosch in 1503. Each human’s vital need is declined in 3 parts, suggesting respectively views of our ideals, attitudes during the prolific post war period and the realities we have to face nowadays.

Another series of canvasses revisiting the major portraits painted since the Renaissance to try to imagine which muses, art lovers, sponsors or models would be represented if they had been painted nowadays.

Suite aux Portes Ouvertes des Ateliers du Père Lachaise, je procède à un énorme "VIDE ATELIER". C'est une occasion exceptionnelle pour acquérrir une oeuvre originale et unique à des prix dérisoires.
