Sylvio Eisl

Sylvio Eisl is a contemporary German sculptor. For the artist the tension elements of the visual, flat design are increased by the third dimension with the sculpture. The ensuing wholeness provides for a new way of looking at the form. The focus of his sculptures are primarily concerned with the idea of space and dimension in both interior and exterior design.

Eisl’s inspiration comes from peace and nature. Organic forms and processes are reflected in his sculptures, and represent the beauty and aesthetics of what is possible. Whether it's wood, marble, aluminum, or bronze, the materials play an essential and ambivalent role, revealing both potential and limitations.

Sylvio Eisl was born in 1954 in Tyrol, Austria. His sculptures are in private collections around the world.
