De nationalité franco-suisse, Sylvie Mallet est née au bord du lac Léman, c'est dans cet agréable cadre empreint de sérénité, qu'elle laisse danser les couleurs de sa palette de peintre.
Elle a fréquenté l’école des Beaux Arts de Bordeaux, suivi de cours spécifiques de dessin à l’encre, en France et en Asie .
Fascinée par la magie des couleurs, la beauté du monde et de l'univers, elle n’a de cesse de les retranscrire sur papier et sur toile; cela, avec des matières plus denses ou tout à coup plus fluides, elle réalise des huiles, des acryliques, aux teintes lumineuses, et des encres, avec le trait sûr, tout en finesse.
Depuis 1991, elle aime partager son voyage artistique en exposant en galeries et en salons d'expositions, en France et à l'étranger ; son travail pictural fait également partie de collections privées en Asie, en Allemagne et en Suisse.
