A photo series about losing from our own toxic behaviour. A moment that can turn around, first losing reality being most euphoric and optimistic. You will have it all and only feel what you want, take what ever you need. Taste what ever crosses your path, but when that break of dawn arrives.. To many times this was all not an exception.. Loneliness all down to your own decisions, nobody else to blame leaving you with fear, no self love and shame.

Biography
Ottilie Maters is a professional photographer. She thinks that anything can be looked at. She makes things, takes pictures, and gives them away. She is amazed, surprised, and moved. No life happens without people. She puts movement, ideas, concepts, and inspiration in this modern, well-connected society. Show vulnerability and try to encourage anyone, including herself, who wants to try something new.
In her work, she captures, shares, and talks about things that interest her. She wants to create a space for growth, empathy, and understanding between different things. With a big interest in subcultures, countercultures, and things that are considered taboo.
Ottilie Maters is a director and photographer who was born and raised in Amsterdam and now lives in both Amsterdam and Berlin. She is self-taught artis. She has worked for Adidas, LEE, Zalando, Warner, and others. Many people have her work in their private collections.
