Born in 1963 in Angers, Stéphane JOUET has been attracted by drawing since he was a teenager. He studied at the Beaux-Arts in Angers.
His artistic journey began with watercolor, then oil, he then asserts himself in acrylic painting and collage on large format. He is particularly attracted by the material, the contemporary colors and the abstract.
These abstract paintings are of a very colorful palette built around an encounter between color and matter.
