Orthodox Christianity honors the Blessed Virgin Mary as the greatest saint, as the first in importance after God. Her image is widely used in Orthodox iconography, hymnography and liturgy. Some of the biggest church holidays are dedicated to her. The prayers addressed to the Most Holy Mother of God are of special importance, as she is closest to God and, accordingly, is the most decisive intercessor for the one who prays before Him. Nevertheless, from an Orthodox point of view, the Blessed Virgin Mary is a man like everyone else, and all her merits are expressed in her innocence and holiness.

The artist uses mixed media to create his paintings. The variety of materials such a acrylic paste, gold and silver metal foil, collage, acrylic and oil paint, enrich and enhance the image of canvas. The surface of the canvas is processed with spatula until the desired effect is achieved after which it is layered with more contrast and gentle colors , which depend on the theme of the painting.

The compositions are mostly figurative, the details are realistic, but stylized  and decorative. The diversity of topics is combined with rich colors , texture and variety of herbal and natural elements. These make the paintings interesting, close to the human spirituality and easy to assimilate.
