Stas Royze strives to capture the creative impulse as something originating from a vacuum. He is interested in the initial action itself, which can be viewed as an indefinite possibility of creating complete something. In his works, he combines spontaneity and logic, expression, and planning.
At the same time, in his works, he achieves conciseness by combining abstract forms and real images. Combining the lively, unbridled energy of color, dynamic brushstrokes, and phantom images, Stas Royz tries to know the universe through the process of creativity.
In his work, Stas Royze expresses the specifics of our time in which events develop very quickly. At the same time, in his works, he shows simultaneously a fast pace of life and a serene eternity. Stas Royz achieves this by combining expressive means with reliance on the traditions of contemporary art.
