Nous sommes dans un village africain, étape importante pour que les voyageurs se reposent et achètent tous les produits nécessaires avant de rejoindre la nature sauvage. J'ai tout de suite été fasciné par de splendides motos qui m'y attendaient. J'ai découvert[...]
Karatu, entre Manyara et Ngorongoro, nord Tanzanie. Mars 2019.
Nous sommes dans un village africain, étape importante pour que les voyageurs se reposent et achètent tous les produits nécessaires avant de rejoindre la nature sauvage. J'ai tout de suite été fasciné par de splendides motos qui m'y attendaient. J'ai découvert qu'elles sont utilisées comme taxis. Dans cette photo, je voulais à la fois célébrer la machine brillante au premier plan et les autres derrière, avec leurs utilisateurs. Ils me regardent amusés. Ainsi, l'ensemble du cadre y gagne en cohérence chaleureuse. Et sonne comme une ode au voyage : des motos prêtes à pétarader, une belle terre rouge prête à s'envoler avec panache, après que tous les invités seront de retour de la taverne, que l'on peut distinguer à l'extrême gauche du cadre.

We are in an african village, important stage for travellers to rest and buy all necessary products before joining wild nature. I was immediately fascinated by splendid motorbikes waiting there. I discovered they are used as taxis. In this pic, I wanted to both celebrate the spendid and gleaming machine foreground and the other ones behind with their users. That’s nice, they are looking back amused at me. So, the whole frame gains there a warm coherence. And rings as an ode to Travel : motorbikes ready to backfire, beautiful red soil ready to fly away with panach, after all guests will be back from the tavern we can make out on the complete left.
