About «Picnic»
The direction in my work "light line" pays tribute to "primitivism" and "Neo-primitivism", simplifying the semantic load and increasing the scale. Inspired by children's art, primitive folk art style and Primitive decorating. But it is always based on cubism and geometric art.
The plot in its depth comes from Alphonse Mucha, The jewelry shop Georges Fouquet, and the main inspiration came in Prague looking at the stained glass Decorative panel from The Seasons
Alfons Maria Mucha was living in Paris for a time of Art Nouveau, so maybe a lot of my works are same about Paris, maybe for me as a Czech painter, graphic artist, illustrator Mucha has become a greater example than I think in Bohemia region, our homeland.
