This Painting is the first in a series entitled "Urban landscapes" and, like the others, wants to talk about the city, choosing as subjects the accumulations of materials, residues of human activities, which are deposited in the interspaces of our lives. Empty boxes, bins, waste paper, plastic bags are in fact everyday objects we come across as we wander through its streets. Heaps of materials that can rise to symbols of the waste and frenetic consumption of the human multitudes who inhabit them, but which, if separated from the context, take on interesting shapes and articulated geometries that intersect in a symphony of lines and multiple colors, showing all their beauty. And it is in the explosion of colors with which I transfigure the objects that I want to tell the life force and indomitable energy of the city I love: Naples.
