TETE DE MORT ROUGE Painting by Sidné Le Fou

Born January 19, 1956 in BORDEAUX, Denis Biamouret has devoted a large part of his life to gastronomy.
After having been a chef for senior officials, then highly rated in his Bordeaux restaurant, he ended up teaching in a training center for hospitality trades and culinary technical advisor in the Médoc.
Then it was the great adventure of Ile de Ré where he opened an antiques and flea market for almost 14 years, which he continues to run.
January 2006: 50 years and the famous questioning !!!
And this is how a beautiful morning in February 2006 was born SIDNé LE FOU ......
Pushed by his wife Chrystel who sees him blossom, he works again and again.
And then everything happens, the freedom of creation without taboos or constraints, tests, drawings, paintings and a first exhibition in the popular corner bistro, then a successful opening in his shop (30 paintings sold). What to do ? Get down to work. The barely finished paintings are sold and orders are pouring in.
It is true that his ideas of madness, unusual and puppet, transport us to a universe of colors or funny characters inhabit: "The dirty faces". Tender, funny, kind, Sidné le fou paints them on all the supports that inspire him (doors, canvases, sheet metal .......) Collages of drawings on panels, marouflages of old newspapers and books on canvas and now creation of fantastic sculptures from another world thanks to the addition of various pieces of flea market mounted on old forms found at the flea markets. African gods, kings, wizards or perhaps quite simply inhabitants of his dreams.
Sidné the madman renews himself, by the colors and the line, until obtaining the characters of his universe.
