The Artist Coco was inspired by our sad and very heavy reality to create this oil on canvas entitled "Refuge to touch the stars in the trough of the wave". To illustrate this work, several emblematic sites are reproduced here such as "the great Prismatic Spring" located in Yellowstone Park in the USA, with highly supernatural and spectacular colors which make it an unusual landscape while not forgetting that it is a hell crater mostly composed of sulfur and iron oxide, it is a large pool of water...
The Artist Coco was inspired by our sad and very heavy reality to create this oil on canvas entitled "Refuge to touch the stars in the trough of the wave". To illustrate this work, several emblematic sites are reproduced here such as "the great Prismatic Spring" located in Yellowstone Park in the USA, with highly supernatural and spectacular colors which make it an unusual landscape while not forgetting that it is a hell crater mostly composed of sulfur and iron oxide, it is a large pool of water heated to over 70 degrees. The artist chose this crater of hell to symbolize this invisible enemy named Covid 19/20/21. The artist also reproduced the Wave based in Arizona in the USA which is an unusual sandstone rock formation. Its spectacular relief has been shaped by winds and rains for millions of years. These natural stoneware sculptures are tinged with red-orange due to their content of iron oxide, calcium and other minerals. To maintain the natural integrity of the region and to protect this exceptional site, only 20 people per day are authorized to enter the wave, half of which by drawing lots for the lottery on the internet 4 months in advance !!! This hyper-preserved place constitutes a true refuge of peace, beauty, magic conducive to meditation and contemplation. The artist has also reproduced the sea of stars of the island of Vaadhoo in the Maldives where this beach sparkles and lights up in electric blue at nightfall giving the illusion of reflecting the starry sky. at night when the waves hit the beach during red tides; the tiny organisms glow like fireflies whenever they are stressed or agitated and the movement of the waves keeps them alight. Bioluminescence takes place only in warm coastal waters. This phenomenon gives rise to a paradisiacal landscape where one can contemplate a Sea of stars symbolizing Hope. The artist therefore added to the oil on canvas glass crystals as stars in order to give shine, light and also a little magic to his work to counter this dark and trying period that we let's all cross. The artist also wanted to reproduce the Dragon Tree of Socotra (The tree with the blood of the Dragon) because this endemic tree is inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The inhabitants of the island of Socotra located in the Indian Ocean consider the resin of the dragon's blood as a remedy for all ailments (to lower fevers, heal wounds, treat digestive pains ...). The artist particularly wanted to bring a positive touch to his work by adding an irridescent cloud with rainbow-colored filaments to exorcise this diabolical period that each of us suffers from the full force, and to enter into communion with this young woman who prays for the whole planet so that this scourge stops while touching the stars in this refuge in the trough of the wave ... Since March 2020, our lives have been passing at the rate of successive confinements and curfews as well as under the constraint of severe restrictions on our freedoms .... Our freedoms are dwindling and at the same time pushing each of us to reinvent ourselves, to stoke this blazing fire of creativity which boils and rumbles in each of us like a waking volcano. The whole world lives under a bell and on a thread, giving a glimpse from one end of the planet to the other, of ghost and silent towns where only the flora and fauna reign supreme as if to better take back their rights and their revenge on the man who so mistreated his environment without qualms. We are at the end of March 2021, and the pandemic despite all the efforts of science, laboratories, and with great reinforcements of vaccinations, is still raging across the world. All countries are sailing on sight in the hope of a normal resumption of activities, and increase their recovery plans and aid to companies to best escort the economic fabric hard hit by this health crisis. For a year, we have witnessed an acceleration in the appropriation of digital tools and therefore a rapid transition to e-commerce to continue to exist commercially. The digital, luckily, has been one of the major keys for many not to fall into oblivion ... The world of culture, tourism, sport, hotel and catering, considered initially as non-essential, are kept under infusion and in a suspended time authorized by financial aid and by the resilience of entrepreneurs who have been incredibly capable of reinventing themselves, of adapting, and of bouncing back from the bottom of these successive and incessant waves since March 2020 ... days, each of us scrutinizes the news, the hope of a stable state of health that would allow us to resume the path of a normal life, in vain ... In conclusion, we could say that our ecological anxiety has doubled by an epidemiological anguish which plunges us into the heart of a tragic time when the one and only responsible for all these current catastrophes is the man himself .... For lack of heart, man has put the entire planet on the floor ... It is certain that this per Vulnerable iodine, which is highly anxiety-inducing, constantly nourished by uncertainty, by psychosocial events (unemployment, lack of money, precariousness) will forever mark our minds in indelible ink and whose social consequences will spread over months or over years. This extremely violent health tsunami is changing the face of the world and is causing serious social aftershocks on our planet where each of us will be forced to totally reinvent ourselves, to redesign our lives before taking our leave ...
