The film is being touted as a breakthrough in terms of filmmaking technology, for its development of 3D viewing and stereoscopic filmmaking with cameras that were specially designed for the film's production.[13] Opening to critical and commercial success, it grossed an estimated $27 million on its opening day and made $77,025,481 in the United States and Canada on its opening weekend.[14] Worldwide, the film grossed an estimated $232,180,000 on its opening weekend,[15]the ninth-largest opening-weekend gross of all time, and the largest for a non-franchise, non-sequel and original film.
Avatar is a 2009 American science fiction film written and directed by James Cameron. The film's title refers to the remotely controlled, genetically engineered human-Na'vi bodies used by the film's human characters to interact with the natives. May be James Cimeron drew the inspiration from the Indian mythologies. The bad and greedy humans (who else) gets beaten black and blue by the Avatars.! The film was touted as a breakthrough in terms of filmmaking technology, for its development of 3D viewing and stereoscopic filmmaking with cameras that were specially designed for the film's production. If Cameron had dwelled into Hindu mythology, perhaps he could have found more exciting story lines. He has stated that if Avatar is successful, two sequels to the film are planned.[9. So we can brace ourselves for another onslaught of technical brilliance.and record breaking collections! Well, I would be the first one to que up for the “first-day-first-show” tickets!
Enjoy!

Developing ideas and not just considering the medium as the ideas are expressed are the keys to my paintings.
I create images that I find pleasing and convey the idea behind the title phrase. I provide an environment for thought - a playground for the mind.
I invite the viewer to interact with the images and develop his or her own meanings from them. My advice to you when viewing my work is as follows?
Use your imagination!
Have fun!
