The name of the series of works “From Chaos” was dictated by the way of creating paintings by spontaneous application of paints, experiments with textures, effects, layers. The name of the series of works “From Chaos” was dictated by the way of creating paintings by spontaneous application of paints, experiments with textures, effects, layers. I made a reference to the oldest historical and philosophical theory of chaos as a generative principle, the primary state of matter and formative force. Then, in a figuratively associative way of perceiving spots, the image of an animal was singled out as the primary deity arising from chaos, an image endowed with certain qualities, abilities, and often acting as the creator of the world in cosmogonic myths of ancient peoples.
