BIOGRAPHY

Alberto Sciortino Hernández, born in Vitoria, in 1950, descendant of a saga of renowned Italian artists, in the arts of religious goldsmithing and engraving. He began studies of drawing and painting at a young age, in fine arts in Barcelona. During the sixties he began his profession as a jeweler, which he combined with studies in drawing, painting and modeling at the prestigious Massana school in Barcelona. At this time, he practiced drawing design at an important jewelry company, specializing in gold photoengraving.
He has felt concern for art from a very young age, opting mostly for painting, in this field he moves in a variable and personal style, within abstractism and surrealism; His painting is strange and attractive, with strong color contrasts and marked reliefs, unclassifiable, but especially interesting for the collector of our contemporary painting.
