Svetlana Ledneva-Schukina is a self-taught artist. This passion definitely comes from her family. Her grandfathers before me were painters, so the ability was inherited their flame.
So she feels she has always evolved in an artistic universe. Svetlana explore various techniques: oil, acrylic, pencil, pastels, and watercolour...she has also tried sculpture.

Nature represents an inexhaustible source of inspiration. Landscapes, animals, colours, seasons: the scope is so broad! For Svetlana, drawing and painting should convey a feeling, an expression, an emotion. For a portrait, human or animal, she always applies that look of being alive. In a perpetual quest toward perfection she studies the works of great masters.
