Watercolour, this painting has a mount but is not framed. Donald Campbell came to Dumbleyung with his speedboat the Bluebird. This was in 1964. His aim was to break the waterspeed record in the same year he broke the land speed record. He acheived this on New Years Eve. Our farm was on the edge of the lake but the opposite side. My Mother sat in a cane chair on top of the lake hill with her binoculars and yelled out to us when he made his run. I remember running up to the top of the hill and did see his record breaking run. Unfortunately all I could see with the naked eye was a bit of spray in the far distance.

Painting by Scally Art (Australia), Watercolor on Paper. Its dimensions are 32x53 cm. This artwork is part of the gallery Landscapes. Framing options are available for this artwork, please contact us for details.
