Passionate about art, the artist was born in Sicily and spent many years in Varese, the differences in the two places are recognizable in her style, in which there are both the warm colors of the earth praised by Camilleri, Verga and Sciascia and the fresh landscapes of the Garden City.
After working with various painting techniques, including pencil drawing, watercolor, acrylic, oil, she mainly focuses on oil painting, a style that best expresses her artistic sensibility.
Light and color are particularly important for the artist, both in warm and cold tones, and in her works there is the continuous study of these two elements. In addition, each painting infuses equilibrium and calm in the representation of timeless places, and it is precisely this pursuit of serenity in the image that influences the choice of natural and delicate pictorial subjects.
