Sara Arnaout is a contemporary Italian pop artist. Her artistic production refers to a pop aesthetic in the use of famous or standardized images and in their re-elaboration in a pictorial sense. The artist is fascinated by the American stardom of the 50s. The way she reworks the images also reveals a notable interest in Schifano and the school of Piazza del Popolo, but in a very personal declination. Schifano's pictorialism is present to recontextualize the image, but it does so in a more calligraphic and minimal way with a discreet dripping. Another influence is certainly that of Rotella, in the use of the decollage technique between the superimposed and torn images.

In each of her works Sara Arnaout converges her personal pop vision and her surprising ability to immortalize a scene making it highly dynamic thanks to the three-dimensionality that allows the viewer to grasp continuous messages and new actions by scrutinizing it from different angles.

Sara Arnaout was born in 1971, in Turin, Italy. She lives and works in Milan. The artist is present on the "Catalog of Modern Art" Mondadori and periodically on the magazine "Art" Mondadori.
