Sandrine Blondel is a contemporary French painter. Landscapes, cityscapes, and mechanics are recurring themes in her work. In her latest series she paints industrial landscapes on metal plates. The choice of this metallic support expresses a strong materialization of the theme, as well as a total support/subject osmosis. Blondel creates oil and acrylic ambient compositions in a classical and figurative style, but without succumbing to hyperrealism.
Sandrine Blondel was born in Paris in 1964, where she graduated from the ESAG Met de Penninghen in the Graphic Arts. She has exhibited nationally as well as in the United Kingdom, Germany and the United States.
