Sculptor - Claude Roy was born in Reims, the Champagne region of northeastern France. From the age of fourteen he attended the famous European art school “Ecole Boulle”. Over the course of the next five years he studied design, chiseling, sculpture, art foundry and the history of art. During this time he developed a passion for sculpting in the mediums of clay and plaster. Claude was further exposed to an array of styles by studying works of the masters at museum exhibitions at “Le Louvre”. Through the completion of his studies at “Ecole Boulle”, Claude obtained the knowledge to shape a successful future as well as his master of art degree.

At nineteen Claude was accepted for continued education to “Les Beaux-Art”, the art institute of Paris. In conjunction to continuing his education Claude began working in a local Paris Art Foundry. Later in Port-Sur-Saone, east of France, Claude established (owned and operated) a Art Foundry that would take him through the next twelve years. Jobs ranged from design and casting for international artists (such as Diego Giacometti, Parpan, Moirignot, Oudot, David, Drouin,Kelsy, Jagger, Jobin, Gonez, Margara… ), to museum reproductions of master works for “Le Louvre”, as well as personal works for exhibition and contests. During these twelve years Claude was able to breathe in the numerous styles, challenges and techniques that this region had to offer, allowing him to combine and exhale the art that flows through him today.
