"Rose Passalboni has been interested in art since her high school years in Corsica where she took lessons with an excellent teacher, Mr Deguilhen.
From 1995, she took lessons at the "Atelier Grégoire" where painters meet every week at the "Moulin de Baussy" to exercise and pool their talents. She will have her first exhibitions there at the Château de Tourrettes sur Loup.

Rapidly passionate, she adopts a romantic style and is particularly inspired by the precursors of Impressionism Claude Monet and William Turner. His island of beauty, with its varied landscapes, between sea and mountains, repeatedly guides his imagination and his brushes, and in another key the Côte d'Azur with its natural effervescence gives him an interpretation of the elements that will become very unique.
After starting out in charcoal, she worked for a long time in oil paint to concentrate today on acrylic, which she particularly appreciates for its modernity, its luminosity, its shimmering colors as well as the thickness of its material that she can generously work with a knife.

Rose Passalboni expresses her creativity in various ways, it is through portraits, still lifes and landscapes that she offers to the world her vision of life. His works in the figurative style are imbued with sweetness, romanticism and sincerity.

Some of his photographs have allowed him to immortalize and share on his canvases moments that have marked his spirit or everything simply favorites.

Always eager for knowledge in this field, she travels through the galleries of Saint-Paul de Vence, the exhibitions of the Côte d'Azur, Corsica, everything who could develop her creativity.

Over the years her technique has been refined, and all the artistic encounters she has been able to make have allowed her to enrich her knowledge and her technique.

Today she flourishes in contemporary abstract art in acrylic and mixed techniques by combining various materials and gold leaf. She feels she is a free artist and the abstract has become a way for her to stimulate her imagination and escape far from reality”
