Biography
Relying on an artistic training as a sculptor/ceramist in London in the 80s, this Belgian artist has already developed his own style for 45 years where he favors oval, harmonious and rather feminine shapes. He lived 5 years in the South of France where he discovered the brilliance of colors. He has traveled to over 30 countries in Europe, Africa, Arabia, Australia, USA, Canada. "Young Sculptor" Monumental Sculptures, Narbonne/France. "Mediterranean Colors" South of France. A nomadic and unclassifiable artist, René Georges is an extraordinary person. World traveler, lover of the essence of nature and all that vibrates, he enters a new spiritual dimension which corresponds to the Age of Aquarius. It is in silence that he accesses by his soul the world of creators who experiment and discover the beautiful, the marvelous. From there springs the free and creative energy filling its blank canvas - Inspired by who knows where he always says... Probably from the invisible, from other spheres , other dimensions, other planets. He is then himself amazed, full of gratitude and happiness. His friends like to tell him: What you paint comes from other planets. And why not. It probably is. Work in freedom and lightness, listen to your inner being, what happiness! It's pure adventure. Letting the creative energy flow through your fingers to the end of the brush belongs to the destiny of genius. Listening to silence, harmonious music, meditating helps to connect with his soul. You are again completely elsewhere, his wife tells him. Joy, positive spirit and beauty are at his command.

Ma façon de travailler :
En peinture, à partir de quelques traits qui me viennent de mon essence intérieure, je pose une palette de couleur de manière précise, offrant un ensemble structuré et mystérieux. Chaque toile est au départ une aventure pour moi, ne sachant pas ce qui va en sortir, ce qui va y avoir comme résultat. La toile évolue d’elle-même et c’est sous cette loi que je la caresse avec de la peinture !
En sculpture, j’assemble des morceaux, des formes.
Le résultat final n’est jamais une idée de départ. La pièce se crée dans le processus de réalisation.
Mon idée se tourne autour de simplicité, de sobriété d’une forme qui nous donne une expression nouvelle avec un côté humain, plusieurs personnages en mouvement, en relation, en contemplation.
Le départ des formes est ovale, comme un œuf, la naissance, le fœtus, la vie, un nouvel être, petit, fragile où j’aime jouer avec les espaces vides et pleins.

Merci beaucoup pour l'encouragement. Je cherche à faire une très grande exposition (ou même une petite). Ca fait longtemps que je n'ai plus exposé. J'ai beaucoup de peintures. Je ne sais pas où. Aurais-tu une idée où je pourrais faire celà. Merci encore. René.
