This particular figure my homage to the greatest Italian poet Dante Alighieri. I see him here as a child of Nature, blooming into a Gift to all the humanity. Given he's one of the most important figures of Italian culture and history, I've painted him in red, white and green - the "Tricolore" of the national flag of Italian republic.
On a final note: this particular technique – ceramics - is completely unpredictable. So due to its nature, and the way the items are made, one can never tell the final result with certainty. You can’t, even if you'd wanted, get two exactly same figures. Each one is totally unique.
So, if you feel you have someone unique in your life, someone who you think deserves a unique gift, this is your place.
That special someone might be you.
