Didier Poisson is a contemporary award-winning French sculptor. The fundamental basis of the sculptor's creation are the relationships between material, language, and cognition. The artwork comes across as visual, sensory, spiritual, metaphysical, and symbolic in experience, with the artist's poetic temptation as he seeks to recreate the original emotion, and his view of an exalted reality in movement and sculptural shapes.

He incorporates and juxtaposes elements such as glass, stainless steel, iron, and wood with black marble and granite.
