My name is Jacek Podlasiński. I was born in 1966 in Warsaw (Poland). I'm the Sculptor, cartoonist, painter, ilustrator and designer. The member of "Associations Pour le Renoveau de l'Art" since 1996 and of "Association of Polish Cartoonists" since 1997. I cooperated with magazines as a ilustrator and cartoonist. I created caricatures of well known politicians, actors, and musicians for order of Pomaton EMI and made figurines to animated film for Studio Miniatur Filmowych in Warsaw. I am the author of statuettes ERYK - the most prestige annual award for polish satirics and cartoonists .This awadrd exists until 1999' and along these years all famous cartoonists were awarded, for example : Mleczko ,Kobylinski,Lengren ,Lutczyn and many others. I am also the author of statuette A. LORET - the award of POLISH NATIONAL FORESTS which are graduated sciencists and those who do their best to rescue unique of Polish nature, and TOURIST- award of International Tourfilm (Itally)which first edition in Poland was organized in 2006'.The well known director KrzysztofZanussi were awarded. Carving is my passion and my life, especially figurative , portrait and caricature sculpture. I also paint and study design on Academy in Warsaw . I made the design for PORTICO.I participated in many exhibitions of cartoons and was rewarded for my creations. My last work is The cicle MY ANGELS. When I had a gallery in Warsaw many clients asked me (as a sculptor) to make something for" them not for museums "Something which would give them happy somewhat gentle art where the purpose is to amuse . Then I decided to carve my own angels for them. About hundret angels in this limited edition had found their happy owners. I invite You to my gallery on artatoo and to my website.
