My name is Anca Costache, I was born in Romania and I currently live and study in Italy.My interest in art started at a young age and developed through the years.My parents have always support me, so in the 5th grade they signed me up at an art school.There, I “educated” my talent experimenting many painting techniques and styles.During my high school years I displayed my works at the annual school exhibition “Artefatta” .I also realised decorative pannels for the luch room of the superior institute “A. Einstein- A Nebbia” from Loreto.In March ’10 I participated at the Mail-Art exhibition with the Woman’s Day occasion and I also organised a personal exhibition with a friend of mine.

I like many painters and some of my favorites are Gustav Klimt, for his distinct style, themes and the use of symbols that emphasize the “freedom” of art from traditional culture; Caravaggio for the way he used light to bring strong emotions and drama on his works.I also admire impressionist painters such as Paul Cézanne, Edgar Degas, Edouard Manet and Claude Monet.They decided to close all the links with tradition and originated a great artistic movement that makes art a personal pleasure;a conception of “art for art” , where the artist is free of his personal creation.

What I would like to share with you on this website are my personal knowledges in visual education regarding color, shape, psychology and many more.
