He was born in Morocco in 1948. His father, of Spanish origin, is a portrait photographer and amateur painter. After high school, he enrolled at the School of Fine Arts in Rabat. He then went to Paris to take courses at the Met Graphic Arts School of Penninghen and J. D'Andon at 31, rue du Dragon (66-67). Worked for 4 years in an architecture agency in the South-West, which he left to teach art and established his studio in Burgundy from 1971 to 1992 where he produced several exhibitions in Auxerre (Maison du Tourisme, Galerie de L'Yonne Républicaine , Galerie du Temple) and in Noyers/Serein. During this period, he met and maintained an ongoing epistolary relationship with the painter Roger Chapelain-Midy.
In 1992 he left the metropolis for French Polynesia where he actively participated in the revival of the art of tattooing in Raiatea and Tahiti. During his stay, he exhibited permanently at the Galerie des Tropiques in Papeete.

In 1993, explorer and ethnologist Paul-Emile Victor asked him to teach drawing to young Polynesians in Bora-Bora.
On his return from Polynesia in 1998, he taught in the Côtes d'Armor (Saint-Brieuc) until 2010 then settled on the pink granite coast in Trébeurden (Côtes d'Armor) where he built a large house- workshop-cabinet of curiosities.
He currently works and resides there.

Exhibitions and Fairs:


Participation in many Parisian fairs since 1973: Salon d'Automne. Salon of French Artists (Gold Medal). Salon of the National Fine Arts (1st prize for Painting). Bourges Fine Arts Fair. Salon of the New Island of France. Exhibited in Paris at the Galerie Atlante, rue Beaubourg (1988-1989) then in Polynesia: at the Galerie des Tropiques from 1992 to 1998. Permanently in virtual galleries since 2000 (). International Gallery in St-Paul de Vence from 2005 to 2009. His last exhibition entitled "Beyond Appearances" takes place in September 2014 in PALAIS (Belle-Île-En-Mer).

Works in private collections in the United States, Polynesia, Japan, France and Monaco: Private collection of Alain Delon. Collection of the Grimaldi family of Monaco. Present alongside Lucien Fontanarosa and Roger Chapelain-Midy at the Figurative Art Museum of the city of Fontainebleau.
