Pier Brignon was born and raised in the Paris region (France). A sensitive child, he tames the world by looking through a lens from the age of 11. Paris and its turbulence, the banks of the Seine, the Latin Quarter… saw the birth of his passion for photography. Having become a full-time Auvergnat since 1974, he immerses himself in nature and the simple life. Through an unusual angle of view, an unexpected framing, he captures the poetry of a landscape, of a fallen object, of a banal gesture...
Photographer of the material and the living, his photos are the effect of a tender and simple look at the world around him.
Pier Brignon is in aesthetic research, he follows a long journey to sharpen his senses, approach the intimacy of beings and objects and translate it into images. Avid of meetings, exchanges, knowledge of others, the report is for him an extraordinary means of testifying and sharing multiple emotions, including those related to the eventful moments of each and everyone, popular or private. He lives and works in La Roche Blanche (France). His work is present in many private collections
