Philippe Sidot and Charlotte Carsin are an artist duo from France. Philippe Sidot creates vibrant, imaginative paintings that show scenes from modern life. He was initially drawn to the figurative depicting the effects of movement. Philippe Sidot allows the vibrant and light canvases to surround his features as he lets the color play sweep him away. The artist manipulates the shapes in an effort to create a more carefully built painting. With the encounter with the visual artist Charlotte Carsin, his artistic endeavors gained new pace.

Using various media, Charlotte Carsin invents fictional characters and settings while experimenting with color and shape. The artist is working on a collection of paintings about femininity, the natural world, and animals. She provides a very precise work that combines her own graphics and writing with many techniques. Her own inventions, particularly the totems she co-invented with Philippe Sidot, are the basis of several projects.
