Michel Hervo is an artist photographer whose passion for photography dates back to the age of 15. In 1952, he inherited an old English camera, a Prontor II, Ensign Selfix 420, which transmitted to him the virus of photography, a virus that would never leave him.

During the years 1964 to 1972, Michel runs a photo club at the head office of Crédit Lyonnais, where he has a laboratory. He also participates in numerous national and international exhibitions and fairs, presenting his black and white photos in 30 x 40 format.

His passion for photography led him to a rich and varied professional career from 1972. He then devoted himself to the production of audio-visual slideshows recorded on Kinédia, using several projectors for cross-fading. His presentations are broadcast on a loop or as the opening of debates in companies and associations. Michel addresses various themes such as urban planning, education, conditioning and quality of life.

At the same time, he became a manager and trainer at the "Culture et Liberté" association, leading eight-day internships in boarding schools on black and white photography, audio-visual editing, image and sound, as well as slideshow.

Between 1985 and 2006, Michel Hervo adopted color negatives, leaving aside black and white and slides. He limited his silver photos to five copies and became a member of several artistic associations such as "Arkifuse", the "Ateliers des Artistes de Ménilmontant", the "Nouvelle UDAC", the "Cercle des Artistes de Paris" and the "Artistes des Belleville workshops". He participates in numerous collective and personal exhibitions in various places, such as the Town Hall of the 9th century, the Center d'animation des "Amandiers" in Paris XXth, the "Open Doors" of the Ateliers de Ménilmontant and the Ateliers d'Artistes de Belleville , as well as the Parc Floral de Paris for the "Cercle des Artistes de Paris", where he won the 1st public prize in 2005.

Michel Hervo has also contributed to publications, in particular to Mr. Philippe Monier's book "Photo trucages" in black and white and in color (1975 edition: Publications Paul Montel). His articles and photos have also been published in associative magazines and Works Councils.

Throughout his career, Michel Hervo has been able to explore different techniques and subjects, leaving his artistic imprint through his unique and captivating photographic creations.
