The collection has been created in the period of confinement. I worked with materials and techniques I hadn't worked with in a long time. The idea was to mix ideas to obtain different textures with which to express the beginning of a new life. I was forced to make the collection on separate sheets of paper and put them together later as I could not buy material and it was the only thing I had at home.

The sun represents a new beginning, a new day, a new opportunity. The children, all from different parts of the world, as the pandemic has been global, represent learning and ingenuity. A new life ahead.

I was born and raised in the happy and sunny south of Spain (Jaén, Andalusia), later I moved to Mallorca to develop my career professional, London and currently in betweem France and Mallorca. I have always been intrigued by art in all its disciplines, as my parents acted in the theater and I was always surrounded by all kinds of artists. In my childhood I was constantly drawing what was around me. The Religious figures and people close to me took life from my pencil. I was inspired by the divinities and their power, which made me dream with the unconscious domination of culture over people. The human being is made of culture. My drawings were noticed when I was not even 13 years old, so I had the opportunity to design the cover of the association of merchants in my hometown. In my adolescence I experienced the impact of conventional life, so I was just trying to fit in personalities I had to be able to make my own decisions, and I had to be able to make my own decisions. When I was most confused about life and art I decided to go to London, where all the magic begins. I currently live and work in Palma de Mallorca which is where I am developing and connecting my pieces with more intimate themes. Despite learning most of the time on my own, I was fortunate to meet connoisseurs along the way as Nelson Ferreira (Professor of oil painting at the Saatchi Gallery in London) in my years in England and with Carlos Cerdá in my experience in Mallorca.
