DX works to combine the techniques he loves and those he discovers. They are numerous: Drawing, painting, collage, engraving, photography, 3d printing ... It applies to harmonize or to oppose the ways but also the materials. The support is never the same and it is of paramount importance because it infuses the birth of the work. One does not draw on an Arches Velin as on a recovery wrapping paper, the intention can not be identical. It is this juxtaposition game of noble and vulgar materials as well as the use of mixed techniques in harmony or in contradiction with the medium, which interest him. Soft cut on a quill, ballpoint pen on canvas, collage of drawings and torn notes, are all examples of this narrative patchwork. Because it is a language in question, the creation of a link between genres and moods, between the imaginary and reality. These assemblages, as instinctive as the grafti and technological as the computer image, leave much room for improvisation. If sometimes the intention is the methodical construction of a perfectly aesthetic image, the experience does not stop at the beauty, but passes by its destruction to obtain a reaction. The will is never to shock but to question. About who we are, what we feel and what we believe to be. In the end, after long hours of playing or expressing the diversity of DX and the world around it, it is time to let the other freedom to find meaning in this walk graphic.
