Patricia Njeri is a Kenyan artist born in 1972. Already as a young girl she developed a great interest in art. Later, in 2000, she joined the Kuona Trust Art Center, where she created numerous works of art and sculptures. She now works in her own studio in Dagoretti.
Over the last eleven years she has created works of art from scraps of fabric that she obtained from seamstresses in her neighbourhood. Her style has grown and changed over the years. Her subjects are the African animal world, insects, reptiles, birds, African villages and cities, but also the people around her.
She has participated in various art workshops and has exhibited both locally (in Kenya) and in other countries, including Tanzania, the UK and Germany.
