Patrice Kauffman is a contemporary French sculptor. His passions combine to give birth to sculptures based on an aesthetic foundation in which roundness, edges and curves harmonize. A recent approach makes us discover the crossed legs collection, its graphic inspired approach transforms into 3D after cutting metal sheets, shaping, welding appears a fresh, colorful, offbeat work.

Patrice Kauffman is one of those autodidacts who combines art, craftsmanship, industry, and design and constantly renews inventive modern art. These four polarities are so linked that determining which one takes precedence over the others is impossible. The artist plays with the modernity-acquired contrasts that the twentieth century has inherited.
