Alphonse Vincent Pappalardo est né à Nemours en Algérie le 9 janvier 1953.
Il vit et travaille à Marignane dans les Bouches-du-Rhône.
Il arrive en France en 1963. Très tôt, il se passionne pour la musique, apprend le piano et la guitare, rêvant d'en faire son métier. Mais il découvre la peinture, et décide qu'un jour il deviendra peintre. Il réalise un travail acharné durant des années, en dehors de l'exercice de son métier de gestionnaire d'entreprise dans l'industrie automobile.
C’est en 1993, lors d'un séjour en Russie, qu’il fait la rencontre de deux grands peintres russes qui lui confirment sa voie.
Peintre paysagiste et abstrait, il puise son inspiration dans l'imaginaire où il explore et recherche toujours de nouvelles créations.
La matière, les couleurs et les formes que l'on trouve dans ses œuvres délivrent toute un message que chacun peut interpréter différemment.
Après sa première grande exposition en 2000, s'en succèdent d'autres, surtout depuis 2015 où il possède son atelier à Marignane.
